Capexec Exclusive Tours

Capexec Exclusive Tours has been operating under the ownership and management of Mark Finkenstein and Jacqueline Pollok for the past 20 years. Both Mark and Jackie are registered tourist guides.

We are an experienced and multi-talented team, dedicated to making your stay a unique and memorable experience.

All luxury microbuses (7 passenger seaters) and sedans (up to 3 passengers) operated by Capexec or subcontracted to Capexec conform to required government statutes:

• All well maintained vehicles have Certificates of Fitness, Public Carrier Permits (Operators Permit) and Public and Passenger Liability Insurance (underwritten by Lloyds of London).

• Vehicles are equipped with air-conditioning and public address systems.

• Only SATOUR (South African Tourism Authority) registered tourist guides are employed and most languages can be accommodated.  All driver guides and coach drivers are in possession of valid public driving permits. In addition, they have the very important  attributes of humour,  charm and great driving skills!

Capexec currently operates three microbuses (equipped with PA systems) and a luxury sedan, all with air-conditioning and seatbelts: 

• Hyundai Auto Microbus 7 passenger seater (white in colour, carpeted, tan leather seats)
• VW Microbus 7 passenger seater (azure in colour, carpeted, cloth seats)
• Toyota Quantum 9 passenger seater (white in colour, carpeted, cloth seats which are individually adjustable)
• C-Class Mercedes Auto 3 passenger seater (dark blue in colour, carpeted, dark leather seats)

The main thrust of our business is centered on creating individualised, flexible and tailored tours for our discerning clients ranging from FIT to larger groups. Tours are conducted by erudite and qualified guides in well maintained vehicles which are registered with the Provincial Operating License Board to carry passengers for reward, as required by law. 

Capexec Exclusive Tours carries public liability insurance (underwritten by Lloyds of London). Capexec enjoys membership of industry bodies SATSA (Southern African Tourism Services Association of which Capexec Exclusive Tours is a bonded member) and TOASA (Tour Operators’ Association of South Africa incorporating TOACT). Both these associations uphold tourism service standards.

Capexec is a founder member of the Tour Operators’ Association of Cape Town (this body monitors tour operators’ standards and ethics), established in 1993. Capexec also enjoys membership of SATSA and is a bonded member thereof.
