There are several Estates producing fine Organic Wines in the Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch regions. 

A selection of these will serve to introduce you to new endeavours  in this field which  some wine makers are exploring.

In addition, learn about Biodynamic farming practices (inspired by Rudolph Steiner) and experience the hand crafted products first hand.

We can put together a selection of suitable boutique estates which produce delicious wines and introduce the concept of food pairing in unusual ways – chocolate and wine is certainly a winner! 

The premise here is to marry the flavour of the wine with the prepared food morsels – in this case it is specially designed, hand made Belgian chocolate. If food is properly paired with wine it should enhance your experience of the subtle nuances of the wine considerably.

If you observe Jewish religious law,  you may visit Estates producing Kosher wines and cheeses – Zandwijk, Backsberg and Fairview. We would also include all the stops we would normally make as well as arrange for a Kosher meal which may be enjoyed en route at a suitable spot:

  • the town of Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in SA  (with its quaint and still functioning Synagogue)
  • visit to a Cape Dutch style Manor House
  • Franschhoek village
