Other wildlife which may be spotted here are Eland (the largest Antelope in SA), Bontebok (nearly hunted to the brink of extinction and only found in the Cape Floral Kingdom Region), Cape Mountain Zebra, Hartebees, Cape Clawless Otter, Karakal (Lynx) as well as over 160 species of birds and of course the ever mischevious Chacma Baboons.

- Optional Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens boasting a comprehensive display of roughly a third of Southern African plant species. Buggy rides for those with walking diffuculty are easily arranged.
